Yoga Classes
Simple Yoga With Linda Y
Simple Yoga is a moving meditation that heals in body and mind. We use simple shapes to rejuvenate tissues in and around the joints. The result is more health, mobility, and peace of mind. Please come to our sessions with a yoga mat, a strap (bathrobe sash or dog leash works) and a thick bolster or pillow. All the shapes will be on the floor lying down and seated with access to a wall.

Chair Yoga With Linda M
The intention of these classes is to attune our biology to the native aliveness throughout the body. Seated in and standing at a chair for support, we will explore the elements of earth, air, water, and fire embodied as us, and the interaction with the Living Presence all around us. Gentle movements and cues to deeper sensations connect us to the aliveness and Knowing in every cell of our being. As the body feels our listening and curiosity, it invites us in deeper, under the stories and habits of resistance that have lodged in our biology. Something deep inside longs for recognition and release, and this practice will explore that.

Other Classes
TRE (Tension/Trauma Release Exercise) with Lisa M
Lisa is a TRE practitioner and has been sharing the practice since 2016. TRE is a very simple practice involving a few floor based movements that activate a natural tremoring mechanism in the body. When the body shakes in this natural way it uses its innate intelligence to release stuck energies and soothe the nervous system. Years of stress and tension, societal conditioning, tightly held beliefs and supressed emotions create contraction in the system and energy is unable to flow freely. TRE is a meditative practice that supports the energetic awakening of the body with the release of these stuck energies. In a safe space we are given the opportunity to hand over to the intelligence of the body and to meet and feel any sensations, emotions and insights that spontaneously arise.
In preparation for the sessions please wear comfortable clothing that you can move about in, find a quiet place where you can lie down, perhaps using a yoga mat or similar, and ideally position your camera so that it can capture the whole body.
