Graduate Program Simple Yoga
Simple Yoga with Linda Yameen is a moving meditation that heals in body and mind. We use simple shapes to rejuvenate tissues in and around the joints. The result is more health, mobility, and peace of mind. Please come to our sessions with a yoga mat and a strap (bathrobe sash or dog leash works). All the shapes will be on the floor lying down and seated.

The next session will be held Graduate Program Block Therapy
Unwind your fascia using the principles of Block Therapy, fascia is the matrix of the body, connecting every part of the body and creating the shape and structure of the body. Pain, fear and stress cause us to reactively hold the breath which in turn signals the fascia to contract and compress in an attempt to protect us. This extremely strong and sticky substance becomes adhered, locking us in a negative alignment and weakening our diaphragm. With this therapy we can unlock the diaphragm and open the flow to the tissues which allow life to flow freely through the body. We will use a rolled up towel, a tennis ball or something similar, and either a hardback book or yoga block. This can be done comfortably on the bed, on the floor, chair or couch.
